Introducing Our 7m² Arctic Cabin

The 7m BBQ Cabin is the smallest of our cabins, and this is where the unique design of a ‘sloping walled’ Arctic Cabin really comes into its own. Our small wooden huts are far more spacious on the inside than you would expect. This cabin is big enough for family get-togethers, and is perfect for romantic evenings or relaxing just steps from home.

How many people can fit in a 7m BBQ cabin?

Our small bbq huts (7m²) can comfortably fit up to 10 adults, or a few more people if some are children. This size Scandinavian bbq hut is ideal for smaller gatherings, offering enough space for guests to sit and enjoy an intimate, cosy experience.

Do I need planning permission for a grill cabin?

Since October 2008, outbuildings in England have fallen under “permitted development” rights. This planning classification allows you to build without submitting a planning application, provided certain conditions are met.

The key requirements are that your property is not a listed building and is not located on “designated land,” which includes national parks, areas of outstanding natural beauty, conservation areas, and World Heritage Sites. If your property is outside these areas, you are generally eligible for permitted development rights.

- Your wooden hut must not occupy more than 50% of the total garden area
- It must not be built forward of the house’s principal elevation, meaning it cannot be located in front of the property.

Please note: Our small 7sqm cabin with a height of 2.5 metres falls below the permitted height threshold and can therefore be positioned closer than 2m from the boundary.

Yes. For smaller gardens, we would recommend our 7m² BBQ cabin. These cabins are compact, perfect for creating a cosy year-round space where outdoor space is limited and without dominating your garden.

Can Small Grill Cabins Be Used All Year Round?

Yes, our small grill cabins are designed to be used and enjoyed all year round. We manufacture our BBQ Cabins and Arctic bars using durable, sustainably sourced Nordic timber. Being a very hardwearing timber, it's perfect for withstanding decades of British weather.

Do you offer delivery across the UK?

Yes, we deliver and install our wooden huts onsite across mainland UK. Our team will arrange the delivery and installation of your small bbq cabin at a time that works for you.

How long does installation take?

Installation times vary depending on the size of the cabin and site access, but most small bbq huts can be delivered and fully installed in just one to two days once on site.

Our experienced team handles the entire process efficiently, so you can start using your Arctic cabin immediately.
