BBQ Cabin for Family Parties and Cinema Nights

Anthony and Emma describe their Arctic Cabin as life-changing. What began as something Anthony had admired for years has become a permanent part of their family life and a place they believe they will enjoy forever.

Their 10m² BBQ cabin is now used for everything from birthday parties and karaoke nights to children’s cinema afternoons, football evenings and quiet conversations away from the distractions of the house.

This welcoming Scandinavian barbecue hut has become a home away from home where friends and family can relax, celebrate and spend meaningful time together.

How did you hear about Arctic cabins?

"During lockdown, I saw advertisements of the Arctic Cabin and I fell in love just from the pictures of it. I love the fact that it was a British company, relatively local to me, and the reviews were absolutely sensational, which made me feel a lot of confidence in buying an Arctic cabin over another company."

"But obviously during lockdown, we couldn't get out to see it. So, Touchwood, our local shopping center, were actually doing a demonstration. I rang Emma and said 'Come and see the cabin that I've been telling you about for so many years.' And she came and saw it as well. And then I rang Emma again that afternoon and told her we bought an Arctic Cabin."

How do you use Your BBQ Cabin? 

"We host special parties for close friends if it's one of their birthdays. They will always suggest that we go to the cabin. Everybody will bring drinks and snacks and we'll just put on music. Karaoke will happen so we can set up the screen for the lyrics. 2:00am tends to be the minimum ending time for those kind of nights!"

"We've had a makeup workshop, so we've had 15 women here. We have all the mirrors out on the cabin sides. It's all lit up. Everyone gets a station and they will bring someone in to teach people how to put on makeup, that kind of thing."

"We can pull down the blinds and the kids can still come in here and have their own cinema in their own space."

"I also use it as a man cave as well. I host football nights here with my friends. We pull down the big screen. We have a few beers and it becomes a bit of a therapy room for us as friends and us men as well. So, we can all get away and just have a little bit of space and get away from our everyday lives."

Was the Barbeque hut price worth the investment?

“When we describe the cabin to people, we do use the words life changing because it did feel like something that entered into our life that's going to be there forever. 

"I feel that all of the stresses that you get from your house, you're surrounded by chores, jobs, responsibilities, when you come to the cabin, all of that disappears. I feel comfortable when we come to the cabin of having like proper conversations, real conversations that you wouldn't perhaps have in the house."

"It's a little bit of our own home away from our home. It's somewhere we can come and spend family time together and spend time with our friends. Even though it was a big expense for us, it's without a doubt the best thing we've ever bought and the best value for money of anything we've ever bought too."
