The Kent County Show

Join us for The Kent County Show, the region's showcase event for farming, agriculture and countryside life. For three days a year, animals, horses, vintage vehicles, retail stands and much more converge on the stunning surroundings of the Kent Showground for a celebration of the best in the county.
This year they have the amazing Atkinson Action Horses taking centre stage in the main ring. Benjamin Atkinson and the Action Horse Team present a magical display of the Celebration of the Horse! This display of power and grace in the dance of dressage and the explosive airs above the ground was made famous by the Spanish Riding School of Vienna.
You will want to head over to the Countryside Ring to jolly on some happy hogs in the pig racing, back a winner and cheer for them all the way! In the countryside ring you will also find a fun display of the Sheep Dog and their handler. Be sure to duck your head when the birds of prey come sweeping over you in their amazing display of wisdom. If that isn’t enough, keep your eyes peeled as the ferret’s races across the ring with the flat caps and ferret teams. Or, if fly fishing is more your thing, there will be fly casting demonstrations and tuitions by Hywel Morgan.
From animals to tractors, show-jumping, food and flowers, this incredible show has been entertaining and educating since 1923. You’re sure to be delighted by this family friendly event.
