Gareth Parkinson
As Owner and MD of Arctic Cabins from the day it was created, there is no-one in the company who knows the product better. Gareth’s wife Virpi is a native Finn and introduced Gareth to the world of BBQ cabins when they first met in 1998. He proactively leads all sales and distribution throughout the companies and with the rapid growth of the BBQ Cabin Villages, Gareth works closely with all departments and takes pride in the high quality buildings manufactured by us here in the UK.
Virpi Kokko-Parkinson
Virpi, who is from Finland, met Gareth back in 1998 while travelling. They soon became the strongest team and after settling back here in the UK they decided to bring a Scandinavian tradition to Britain in the form of Arctic Cabins, established back in 2002. Virpi helps in many areas of the business including the Show Site & the Factory.
Cliff Hickling
With an extensive sales background Cliff joined the team back in 2014 as a Sales Executive. He worked his way up to Head of Sales across all the companies in 2017. Cliff is based at our midlands show site but travels up and down the country visiting customers, attending trade shows and managing both our Nottingham & Studley Show Sites. Cliff motivates the team and directs their focus, whilst continually analysing and improving the sales processes.
Simon Lees
Since Simon started with Arctic Cabins as a Sales Executive his role has quickly progressed. With his innovative ideas and strong eye for detail he has taken the lead in developing new systems across the businesses. Simon has an active sales role within Arctic Cabins and you may deal with him if you have opted for a bespoke cabin build.
David Lees
With an extensive sales background, David is a valuable member of our team. With a vast knowledge of all of our buildings, Arctic Cabins and Cabin Master customers are in safe hands when dealing with David.
George Jefferies
George has been a strong member of the Nottingham show site team since 2017. He has a high level of knowledge both on the Arctic BBQ huts and the Cabin Master garden rooms. He works on many of the larger cabin enquiries as his product knowledge is extremely extensive. George is also fully trained on our Hydropool Hot Tubs and Swim Spas.
Anne-Marie Adams
After working in sales for most of her career Anne-Marie has worked with Gareth on several projects since 2008. In 2018 she became part of our team concentrating her talents on the Cabins for Schools and Camping Cabins side of the businesses as our B2B Sales coordinator. In 2020 she added a new feather to her bow with sales for Cabin Master & Arctic Cabins.
David Coveney
David joined our sales team in 2022. He has an extensive background in house extensions & conservatories allowing him to understand the needs of the customer when it comes to creating more space at home! David is working across our Arctic Cabins & Cabin Master businesses from our Nottingham show site office.
James Parkinson
James, son to Gareth and Virpi, began on the installations team at Arctic Cabins. He is now a valuable member of the sales team, working across both Arctic Cabins and Cabin Master.
Ian Bramley
Ian is on our sales team. He has a passion for attending shows across the country to showcase our buildings.
John Tuck
John joined our sales team in 2023. With an extensive background in sales, he took the task at hand by storm! John is primarily based at our Studley showsite.
Andy Harris
Andy joined our sales team in 2023. You’ll mainly find him at our Studley showsite, always happy to show people around our buildings and offer his expert advice.
Nick Drewett
Nick is our Distributor Support Manager. He helps our current distributors with bringing on new products from across our different ranges. He has also brought on new companies to ensure we can offer our products further afield.
Debbie Pickering
Debbie works within all 5 of Gareth’s companies since starting in 2014. Debbie deals with all the incoming and outgoing payments of the businesses and is the oracle when it comes to what went where, how, when and why!
Nikki Macpherson
Nikki joined our team in spring 2020 to take over the role of calendar management. All customers will speak to Nikki to organise the dates for their cabin installations. She also works closely with our Aftercare Team and supports Marketing too… She's one busy lady! Gifts of chocolate & Gin are gratefully received!
Alex Page
Alex manages our Garden Room Design Team. While creating your perfect garden room you may spend time with Alex to create the visuals. He also works with our factory to supply detailed drawings for manufacturing as well as product development.
Seb Robinson
Seb joined our Garden Room design team back in 2022. He supports Alex Page with garden designs for customers at our Nottingham Show Site. He has also joined our Sales team at several Cabin Master events across the country.
Andrew Sze
Andrew is our newest member of the design team. He supports Alex and Seb and concentrates his time at our Nottingham Showsite.
Victoria Parkinson
Victoria is Head of Marketing across the 5 main companies and with a background as a professional photographer her skills have been invaluable in developing websites and company literature. Her team manage the ad & event campaigns as well as build good relationships between new and existing customers, ensuring imagery & information is readily available.
Kay Pollard
Kay joined our Marketing team to support Victoria and be a bridge between our owners and new customers. Kay concentrates her time on Social Media posts and stories showing our 100k plus followers the range of cabins we install on a daily basis.
Melissa Quinney
Melissa joined our Marketing team in 2023 as a Junior Marketing Assistant supporting Kay & Victoria. She is now working on our B2B brands from Social Media through to the main website content & campaigns.
Daniel Bamford
Daniel came on board in 2023 as a Digital Media Marketing Assistant. His strengths are currently focused on our video creation from products to owner case studies as well as events at our show sites.
Rob Lee
Rob joined Cabin Master back in 2015 working alongside Sam Elvin on installations, he quickly became a Team Leader on one of our fitting teams. Rob has always been complimented on his friendly and professional manner, not only on site but at the factory too! In 2020 he was promoted to Installations Manager and now oversees all the fitting teams for Cabin Master & Arctic Cabins.
Sean Calladine
Sean runs our manufacturing operations in Derbyshire for both Cabin Master & Arctic Cabins. Sean has been with the company for 17 years, working his way up the ranks and has been Head of Manufacturing since 2017. He has implemented an incredible amount of new systems into that side of the business.
Tod Angelov
Tod has been with Arctic Cabins for over 6 years and has fitted in excess of 1,000 BBQ huts up and down the country. He is one of our team leaders out on the road and has great feedback from all his customers.
Jordan Bestwick
Jordan joined us in 2021 after leaving the army and deciding to retrain. He has now worked his way up to being second man in Tod’s team.
Jamie Gillon
Jamie is the team leader of our second team. Jamie has worked with us for over 6 years now and knows our cabins like the back of his hand. He is mainly on the Arctic Cabins teams as a team leader but also works with our Cabin Master installation teams.
Will Steveson
Will is the second man on our second team.
Adam Males
Since Adam joined the team 4 years ago he has worked on many of the big projects. He is team leader on our 3rd van and helps train up our new fitters.
Ross Cardwall
Ross is the second man on Adam’s team.
Ben Ireland
Ben is team leader of our 4th team.
Dale Hinds
Dale is the second man on our 4th team.
Danny Marshall
Danny started with Arctic Cabins back in 2015 and manages the warehouse where all the BBQ units, roofing felt and accessories are held. He also works on the base teams in the summer months.
Paul Powell
Paul is a newer member of the BBQs team, starting in 2023. With his enthusiasm and friendly demeanour, everyone finds him a pleasure to work with.
Ben Langley
Ben, one of our supervisors, has shown nothing short of dedication and professionalism. He started his journey with us all the way back in 2016 as a trainee bench joiner. With plenty of hard work, Ben progressed to become a supervisor in 2022. He ensures smooth proceedings day in, day out!.
Jamie Townsend
Jamie began working at Arctic Cabins as a bench joiner. In 2020, he made the move to specialise in roof sections and has worked tirelessly ever since.
Phil Harvey
Phil joined the saw team back in 2020. With his impressive cutting skills, some might say he’s ‘The Greatest Saw-man!’
Darryl Landser
Darryl started out as a bench joiner before specialising in roof sections in 2022. He is a real stand out for his positive attitude, not to mention for his expertise.
Adam Belcher
Adam started out as a bench joiner. In 2021, he joined the wall sections team to specialise in an area of his interest. He quickly adapted to the new role and demonstrated a strong passion for precision and craftsmanship. His attention to detail and dedication to his work have made him a valuable asset to the team.
Richard Boultby
Richard is our forklift operator, concentrating his efforts on coordinating the movement of goods. He ensures that everything is unloaded and moved professionally and that no damage is done. Of course, he upholds impeccable health and safety standards.
Daniel Smith
Daniel is a delight among the team! He began his journey as a bench joiner but soon progressed to specialising in creating bars and racks. His passion shines through in every component he creates.
Jake Bancroft
Jake joined the saw team in 2021. He continuously proves his precision and is a real team player. His willingness to go above and beyond never goes unnoticed.
Alan Hodges
Alan, one of our supervisors, has a wealth of knowledge. He joined the team all the way back in 2013 and whether he’s working on bars, window leading or doors, he seriously knows his stuff.
Josh Hodges
Josh, spending over a decade on our team, is the ultimate door expert! After beginning as a bench joiner, he joined the doors team years ago and has acquired a great deal of skill and knowledge in the process.
Neil Sutcliffe
Neil is our incredible Health and Safety manager. He began in 2019 and has been responsible for facilitating regular workplace checks and conducting inspections and audits to ensure everything at both Cabin Master and our sister company Arctic Cabins complies with legislation and standards.
Pete Dann
Pete has been our resident Electrician for many years and works on all projects from small to big. He has been an electrician for over 40 years and is Part P Certified and does both Domestic and Commercial work. EV charging installations, network instals and intruder alarms.
Simon Walker
5 years ago Simon came on board to assist Pete as an electrician when our Cabin Master & Camping Cabins businesses soared. Simon & Pete may visit you if you are having one of our luxury Garden Rooms installed.
Spencer Rate
Spencer joined us in 2024 as our Graphic Designer across our 5 brands.
